Back Cove Music & Arts Festival inaugural edition occurse in  Portland, Maine on August 2nd and 3rd. The lineup was just announced and it is a very solid line up for a brand new 2 day festival.  The festival grounds (Payson Park) and surrounding area appear beautiful in all of the press information.

At this point, the information is still pretty scarce. Back Cove seems to be a smallish regional city festival. There are only two main stages. The weather in Portland, ME at that time of year is with highs typically in the high 70s or low 80s and lows in the 60s.  This seems to be pretty perfect festival weather. Payson Park is located on the coast and has picturesque views of Back Cove.  Because of the location on the water, we would expect a nice breeze.

As of 2/27/25 there is a local presale. General on sale begins 3/6/2025.

Two day GA tickets are $211 and VIP are $444. VIP benefits included dedicated viewing areas at both stages, a VIP Lounge with shade and seating, AC restrooms, dedicated bars and food services. There are single day tickets available also

Back Cove seems very family friendly and children 12 and under are free with a paying adult.  We expect this will be a great fest for families and as an introduction to music festivals, for children.
